Money Money
In the post-industrial society, with the takeover of the planet by high finance, which uses money to make money, the values of the richness produced by labour or industry have become obsolete, as have freedom and creative fantasy; pawns in a game controlled by the great god of money to enrich the few while impoverishing the many. And so we, as acclaiming architects, celebrators of the powerful, have designed the armchair for the tycoons of international finance – the money men who decide to start wars, carry out genocides, impose tyrannies and destroy countries purely with a view to accumulating additional riches. They are the high priests of the mighty greenback. For them, we have come up with a chair that has space for gold ingots, change and jewels, on which these new kings of the world can rest their tired limbs.
